Welcome to MCA Athletics

MCA Athlete Families,

We are excited to unveil our newly-updated MCA Booster Club. The Athletic Department at MCA is booming! Each year we reevaluate our program and make adjustments to reflect our positive changes.

This year our booster club and athletic fees will be completely separate. Each player will only pay a $50 athletic fee per sport. The student athletic fee provides funds for referees and equipment upkeep. This fee will be charged to each player’s FACTS account. Booster Club support is optional. Families who choose to support MCA Athletics through a Booster Membership will receive benefits provided for Booster Club members.

Booster Club Options:

Green Level $100 – Free admission to all home sporting events for immediate family members for 2017-18. Includes 2 free booster shirts, free food at the fall tailgating party, and admittance to the fall and spring booster meetings.

Gold level $150 – Free admission to all home sporting events for immediate family members for 2017-18, plus grandparents (up to 4). Includes 4 booster shirts, free food at the fall tailgating party, and admittance to fall and spring booster meetings.

We would love your support to keep MCA’s Athletic department thriving! We are excited to work together with you to provide a positive experience for your student athletes and your family. Please let me know if you have questions.  Click Here To Sign Up For The Booster Club!

It is the goal of MCA that athletes develop positive Christ-like character qualities and express them through the medium of athletics. Athletes are confronted with all types of life situations, perfect learning situations for teaching Biblical principles. It is the job of the coaches to properly direct them in these situations to build character qualities. Athletics should help foster vital relationships among team members coming from the team concept and direct leadership of the Christian coach.

Our coaches, players, and students represent the school in a manner that is respectful of others on-and-off the field. We encourage enthusiastic support of constituents and friends. In the process, we expect all such constituents and friends to uphold the same high standards that we expect of our students, which is to be ambassadors of Christ Jesus. Opposing teams and their fans are to be treated as honored guests.

Athletic Fee: $50 participation fee for each sport played to cover the costs of coaches and referees.

All student athletes are required to provide documentation from their physician, indicating their eligiblility to participate in MCA Athletic Programs. Please pick up a IHSAA Physical Evaluation Form from the Athletic Director’s office, or download from IHSAA, by Clicking Here.

All students and parents are required to read the MCA Athletic Handbook, and sign documentation, indicating students will abide by the required guidelines.
